There are fewer and fewer positions available for new and existing graduates. The salary is fair for the minimal entry level education required; however, the intensity of the job coupled with the multifaceted skills required to perform to an employers expectation often does not meet the salary offered. Dental Hygienists should expect to receive 33% of the revenue they produce.
